Kyle Zibbon, the sole owner and tax preparer of ZTS, has honed his knowledge of the tax code over the years, preparing returns at H&R Block and independently.  As an Enrolled Agent, the highest credential the IRS awards, Kyle is granted unlimited practice rights, just as attorneys and CPAs, and can represent any client and handle any tax matter. Why Work with an Enrolled Agent?

As an Enrolled Agent, I am authorized by the U.S. Department of Treasury to represent any client on any tax matter directly to the IRS.  I have passed three exams that demonstrate detailed expertise on a broad range of tax topics, from individuals to business entities to ethics and representation. Unlike many tax preparers who lack a designation, my EA credential grants me the ability to communicate directly with the IRS on behalf of my clients in regard to collections, appeals, and audits.

Enrolled Agents and Certified Public Accountants are granted the same practice rights when in comes to taxes.  They are required to stay up-to-date on their tax education to maintain their credentials.  Enrolled Agents only focus on tax while CPAs spread their focus across taxes, auditing, and accounting.  Because Enrolled Agents have a national credential, they can represent any taxpayer for any tax case across all IRS jurisdictions.

Tax Preparation is a Family Business

Many people avoid unnecessary conversations about the tax code, but that isn't the case in the Zibbon household. My husband and I frequently discuss the tax code and its many intricacies. Robert is also an Enrolled Agent and has been running his firm, Beuther Tax Service, for over 13 years. Both of our tax firms are committed to inclusion for the LGBT+ community and other marginalized groups.
